The CSI will give funding support to the Hong Kong Comics and Animation Federation (HKCAF) to develop a smart-phone platform for publishing Hong Kong comic works. The project aims to develop a new-generation platform for migrating the paper-based comic works to be published, promoted and distributed on mobile network to the international markets.

The platform will help publicise Hong Kong's comic works in the international market, develop its brands globally, and encourage creative content development in Hong Kong.
